Milestone 604

[LICORNE]

Hi every one,

This model seems to have been the latest Studio Monitor by Altec for the Japanese market in the mid 90's.

Very nice.

Those look really nice...I like! Those cabinets are nice but they look kind of small for a 604. I remember Altecs model 17 & 18 system ultilizing the 620 cabinet, signifigantly larger. I could be totally wrong but I think even Altecs Stonehenge III had a bigger cabinet. Made perhaps for small Japanese homes & apartments maybe. I've never been to Japan but I hear the typical Japanese living room is tiny compared to the average we're used to. I'd love to hear those speakers!

The size of these are H 906mm,W 465mm, D 505mm.
or H 36.67" W 18.31" D 19.88" If .75" wood thickness . The volume would be 6.0... cubic feet.

The driver was a 604-K .
